Maureen Walsh, 2005 Winner, Holy Trinity

Maureen has begun studies at the University of Alberta with plans to enter the Business program to obtain a B. Comm with a major in entrpreneurship.

Having obtained the highest mark in English in the school last year she has also won the Performing Arts Award, the Queen's Centennial Award, the Rutherford Scholarship and the Cecil Winton Award for the student who fosters a spirit of togetherness, working towards excellence in all areas, demonstrating positive attitudes and continuous growth.

Not just a award winner, Maureen has done all of the following:

   - currently involved as a Volunteer with the Red Cross Blood Services at U of A.

   - Volunteered with the city of Edmonton to work with young children in Drama Theatre

   - Member of a youth group in her parish.

   - Active in Student Council

   - participated in the International Baccalaureate Program at Holy Trinity

   - active on the Girl's soccer Team.

We look forward to following Maureen's progress and congratulate her as a winner of the Rotary Scholarship.
