Spring Forward Day Projects (each February)
  • 2018       iWrite on “I” The Guy writing station, We'll Get This and Yellow Cab car show, soccer clinic with Sphere Fit, cards for military troops, fitness games with Covenant Fitness, health info from Walgreens, and lego building with Adam "Brick Guy" at Piney Point Elementary
Step Forward Day Projects (each September in partnership with Pepperdine University Houston Alumni)
  • 2017       Cancelled due to Hurricane Harvey :-(
  • 2016       Landscaping, partnered with Read 3 Zero on “I” The Guy writing station for students, installed 2 benches with painted tiles by volunteers & student, sidewalk games with students, Zumba fun at Brookline Elementary in Houston’s East End
  • 2015       Landscaped & installed edible gardens, paint classrooms, and make cards for troops & seniors at Community Family Centers in Houston’s East End across street from Rotary Dynamo Soccer Field
  • 2014       Created nature garden, updated zen garden, installed hand painted benchr, painted 30 foot mural, donated $3K+ books, Dynamo Girls & Betsy Ross at Ethel Coop Elementary School
  • 2013       Installed playground, updated nature garden, Talk on Autism & Brain:, character development and art thank you cards for the Troops, Learned to play the guitar at The Westview School
  • 2012       Installed nature garden, solar-powered fountain, MOCAH puzzle mural; created greeting cards at The Westview School which serves students on Autism spectrum
  • 2011       Built compost pile, updated community garden, repainted building, and installed landscaping at the Julia C. Hester House in Houston’s fifth Ward
  • 2010       Updated edible garden, cleaned tool shed & greenhouse, taught kids about sustainability, agriculture, and nutrition, played on antique Yellow Cabs
  • 2009       Built compost pile, harvested Fall vegetables from edible garden at Port of Houston Elementary School (went back in Spring and painted/installed water cisterns)
  • 2008       Served with Habitat for Humanity to build home in Southeast Houston
