- Chaired Numerous District 5890 Initiatives/Events
- Our members have chaired everything from Million Dollar Dinner (2010 & 2011), to District Conference, to Annual All-Clubs Dinner, to annual Rotary Day/Pre-game Party at Dynamo Soccer Game (benefiting Polio Plus campaign), to Social Media Seminar (2011) to regularly hosting happy hours and welcome parties at District 5890 events
- Partnered with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center on Quarterly Blood Drives
- Named finalist for Small Group of Year (2012), collected enough blood to save over 1K lives!
- Volunteered multiple times with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, Houston Food Bank, Congressman Gene Green Back to School Drive, and The Immunization Partnership. Volunteered at PBS Phone Bank, Star of Hope Women and Family Shelter, Served Lunch at Impact Church
- Lazarus House – repainted house, installed bench and updated garden/landscaping (2012)
- Adoption of families at Christmas (multiple times)
- Volunteered at numerous 5K Fundraisers, including Sprint for Life (supports ovarian cancer research), Dynamo Charities Fun Run, Bellaire Fall Fever Run, Steps for Students (supporting education)
- Hurricane Ike recovery efforts
- Foundation Alumni Brewery Tour & Service Project in Shiner, Texas – organized and led efforts repainting home of senior citizen in Shiner (2009)
- Cocktail Reception Honoring Sgt. Eddie Wright- organized and hosted cocktail reception to raise money to retrofit wounded veteran’s home (2010)
- Cleaning Bellaire Trolley – partnered with Bellaire Mens Club to give historic trolley a good washing (2010)
- Partnered with Museum of Cultural Arts Houston to donate musical instruments to students
- Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Man & Woman of Year Campaigns – we have supported/hosted events for multiple members that were building awareness for LLS.
