  • Supported Skyliner Ed Pettit’s outdoor recreational area for Adolescent AIDS Center in Botswana 
    • Raised money through Carnegie Vanguard Interact Club’s International Festival & District Grant
  • Supported Skyliner Vicki Brentin’s Bio Medical Equipment Repair and Training Project in Haiti
    • Program trains Haitians on how to train medical equipment providing jobs and working equipment
  • Guerrero, Mexico Eye Clinic – multiple members have participated in the Spring or Fall trips to assist in performing Cataract surgeries, providing eye exams and glasses, dental services to patients that come from all over Mexico.
  • International Matching Grant to Combat Dengue Fever in the Philippines (2009)
  • Partnered with other Rotary Clubs and Rotary Foundation to raise a total of $21,400 to combat the spread of Dengue Fever by spraying, removing stagnant waters, and educating residents. Go watch the YouTube video that shows the true scope of project.
  • Assisted Revive to Survive on 2013 and 2014 Galas raising money to provide adolescent AIDS drug to children cancer survivors in India
  • Rotary Books for the World (multiple times) – sorted & organized donated books to be shipped to South Africa
  • Hosted Inbound Rotary Scholar Eveling Urbina from Nicaragua
  • Led and sponsored by Skyliner D’Lisa Simmons, we hosted Eveling during her Ambassadorial year in Houston, including her running Chevron Marathon with D’Lisa despite being blind
  • Also sponsored 3 Outbound Rotary Ambassadorial Scholars in Australia, Columbia, and Chile
