July marked the start of the new Rotary year, and we kicked things off with local artist Taft McWhorter, who shared an inspiring message about pursuing your passion and the successes that follow. Shortly after, on July 18th, we officially celebrated our Skyline Officer Installation.
We were joined by many friends and hit the ground running with our first service project of the year: "Caring Through Crafts." Hosted by Sharon Taylor, we spent the afternoon crocheting sleeping mats out of recycled plastic grocery bags for unhoused veterans in our community.
When we combine creativity with service, we guarantee that tomorrow is better than today for those who have served our country.
