Shannon Castillo from the Meadowlane Park Association will join us on Wednesday, October 1st. Meadowlane Pool has been a cornerstone of northeast Lincoln for over 60 years, serving generations of families as a safe and welcoming place to swim, play, and connect.
After being closed for the past three summers due to needed repairs, the Meadowlane Park Association is running a community-driven effort to reopen the pool. With support from neighbors, local organizations, and grant partners, the project will bring affordable swim lessons, youth programs, and family recreation back to the neighborhood, ensuring Meadowlane Pool continues to be a vital gathering place for years to come.
We are looking forward to learning more about the goals and activities of this neighborhood group.
