We had the honor of hosting the Mayor of Lincoln, Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird for an inspiring conversation about community development, service, and the future of our city. She shared her personal story and the “why” behind her hard work. We are grateful for her leadership and vision.

Alynn Sampson serves as Executive Director at Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach which is a local nonprofit working to end hunger and homelessness. She has been in this position since August 2023 following a 15-year career at the Food Bank of Lincoln in Nebraska where she served as Vice President, Operations & Impact.

On November 19 we officially welcomed Brian Boon, Chris Gay, and Milan Wall to the Lincoln East Rotary Club. 

They are already involved with volunteering, the Zambia Nutrition program, social media, membership and more.

Their dedication to “Service Above Self” adds strength to everything we do.  

We are looking forward to 2026!  

Lincoln East Rotary Club is collecting donations for 3 nonprofits; 

Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach, People's City Mission, and The Salvation Army.

Please look for the donation containers at each meeting through December 10.

The LER Club Foundation will match all donations and the totals will be announced at the Christmas Party!
