HOPE

A few of our members have already received at least one of the two COVID – 19 vaccinations. These individuals are all affiliated with one of the health care facilities in town. Other members are already scheduled for their first vaccination with the County or State Health Department. So, there is hope that soon we’ll all be able to get vaccinated. That will make it safer for us in the community and safer for our families. It also means that we may soon get to meet together in person once again. That will be wonderful! We really appreciate all the efforts of the County and State Health Departments and the efforts and sacrifice of all of the health care providers assisting us. Thank you!

Error Correction: I left Christ Klingenberg off the list of pallbearers for Steve Grosserode's funeral in the 1/27/21 SPOKE. Chris rescued us after another member had to drop out so I talked to him three times. You'd think I wouldn't have left him out. Sorry Chris and thank you for your service!

Students at Trinity Lutheran getting their dictionaries from Wayne Casper. Because of COVID-19 we were unable to deliver the dictionaries in 2020.

Gene Frederick - Gene is still with his daughter.

Jerry Christensen -- Jerry was hospitalized with COVID-19, but has returned home to recovery. His wife, also had COVID-19, but was able to stay at home and is recovering.

Even with the vaccine we continue to keep all of our teachers, school officials, and students, EMT's and first responders, hospital doctors and nurses, supermarket clerks, restaurant workers laid off or furloughed and waiting for unemployment, all those who are currently unemployed, human service organizations who still are open to serve those poor/homeless/hungry, funeral home workers, churches, airline employees, hotel employees, gas station and convenience store workers.

If you know of any of our members you would like for us to mention who are ill or need a prayer, please let Greg know and we will put it in the SPOKE.
