Highlights of 2019-2020 are:
- Wayne showed the 1953 Charter when the club was originally started.
- The following Rotarians have passed away: Dale Lloyd, Steve Grosserode, Gene Roth and Joe Dappen
- Honoring Steve Grosserode as a 43 year Rotarian at his home this fall. Steve became a member in 1977.
- During 2019-2020 the club met its $1800.00 goal for Polio Plus.
- Highlights from the July 19, 2019 SumFun Picnic. We were unable to hold one in 2020.
- Zambia Project: A global grant of $122,500 was given to the Project. Also $7,500 was given for the Nutrition Program in 2019-2020 and the Zambia Pond Project received $7,290.
- In 2019-2020 were able to give out four Scholarships to students for their higher education, honored the Teacher of the Month, and help the Orit Barpunu Primary School.
- We raised $1,000.00 for the People's City Mission for Thanksgiving and $1,360.00 for the Salvation Army at Christmas in 2020.
- In 2019 over 4,000+ dictionaries were given out to 4th graders in Lincoln. The pandemic of 2020 did not allow us to distribute dictionaries to 4th graders.
- In 2020 we recognized the Police Officer of the Year and Firefighter of the year.
- In 2019 we helped the City Recreation Department paint benches and picnic tables. Because of COVID-19 were unable to do that this year.
- In 2019 we were visited by a group from Ukraine.
- In 2020 we gave the Lincoln Food Bank a check for $6,850.00. We had a District Grant for $1500.00, the club matched that amount and the Foundation gave $1500.00 and the rest was raised by members of the club.
- The LERC Foundation helped with the $16,000 that was paid for the Cost of Freedom. Many veterans organizations helped with raising some of the funds.
- Funds went to Kamp Kakati.
- Helped with the Living Spirit's Life Jacket program.
- Won two District awards in 2019 for our work.
- Gave the YMCA $1500 for a Swim Project.
- $1,400 was given the Eye Run which is used for Service for the Blind.
- Duane Tappe was Rotarian of the Year for LERC.
- Wayne was kind of enough to show us a photo from the 2019 Christmas party held at the Hillcrest Country Club. Due to COVID-19 we were unable to have one in 2020.
- Also we contributed top the 2020 Rose Bowl Float that Rotary International had in the parade.
Highlights from the Lincoln East Rotary Foundation ending 2020:
- The LERF was started in 2003 with the help of Ozzie Gilbertson.
- Gordon Bair - President, Dean Douglas - Secretary and Wayne Casper - Treasurer. Other members were shown on the slide.
- The purpose is for educational and other charitable endeavors by the Club.
- Scholarships of $1,000 is given to four students each year. They receive $500 for each semester.
- There are many ways that members can help.
- $18,553.00 is the current balance for the Zambia Project for clean water and nutrition.
- Chris Nealy who helped with our football concessions over the years was added to the Recognition Plaque of donors for the LERF.

A video on the Seward Club hospital bed Project was shown. Lincoln East Rotary Club helped with the funding for this project.
