Nataliia Bohuta shared her inspiring story, detailing how her passion for teaching began in her home country of Ukraine through private English tutoring, volunteering at summer and church camps, and working as an elementary teacher.

Since arriving in Lincoln in April 2022, Nataliia has not only embraced her new community but has also become an invaluable part of it. Her journey began as a student in free English classes at Lincoln Literacy. Soon, her natural talent for teaching was recognized, and she was hired to teach English for Lincoln Literacy.

August 20, Membership Planning Meeting

We would like to extend our gratitude to members Milan Wall, Eric Christensen, and Chuck Erickson for their leadership in spearheading our membership planning initiatives.

A draft letter has been prepared for neighboring businesses, along with outlining a future plan for business outreach.  

An important conversation was led including; “What makes Lincoln East Rotary unique?”, and, “Why do you come to Rotary?”

September Meeting Location Change

Club members have approved a one-month trial to move the September meetings to a new location. 

All meetings on September 3, 10, 17, and 24 will now be held at The Venue, located at 4111 Pioneer Woods Drive, Suite 100, Lincoln, NE.
