End Polio Now began in 1985 when there was 350,000 cases/year.As of last Wednesday, there are only 2 countries left that aren’t polio free, 13 cases in Afghanistan and 38 cases in Pakistan.

Timmy’s Challenge – Every Rotarian could donate $2/week (cost of a Tim Horton’s coffee) to end Polio.Both the Melinda & Bill Gates Foundation and the Canadian Government match those donations 2 to 1.

Made a plea that polio vaccinations continue.Talk to everyone you know and make sure their kids get the polio vaccination, that way we can stay polio free.

Discussed the Stop Hunger Now program
