Meeting called to order at 11:52am.
Health of the club is good except that Jenn Stone’s father passed away last week.
All Rotarians and their partners are invited to the “Almost Annual” Wine and Cheese Party hosted by Ken and Marnie Roberts. Drop in any time after 7:30pm on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 4410 – 52 St. (the Roberts’ residence). Please bring a bottle or two of home made wine OR a bottle or two of purchased wine OR food to share, sweet or savory. A non-alcoholic punch and coffee will be provided.
Executive meeting is tomorrow night at 5:15pm.
The Gala committee is looking for ideas for live auction items.
Mikkel update:
- He had a very nice long weekend
- Basketball tryouts were last week so hopefully he will make the team
- Went to an Augustana basketball game on Friday
- He and Jerome made a bunch of pumpkin pies
- Attended a friends hockey game yesterday which they won 6-1
- Experienced some trouble getting care packages from home due to the wrong address being given to him. Everything has been corrected now.
AGM is December 19th along with the Christmas greeting.The Doing Good – Rotary Foundation 2016 video was shown.50/50 – Winner was Grant Gillot, but he didn’t draw the right card.
