Clubrunner demonstration.
 
Meeting called to order at 11:50am.
 
Health of the club is good.
 
Rotary Cares Raffle update – 220 sold tickets.
 
Rotary Leadership Institute training on Sat., Jan. 28th, 9:30am-4pm at Business IQ.
 
Executive meeting on Tues., Jan. 24th, 5:15pm in the casino board room.
 
Mikkel update:
  • His team beat the top-seeded Notre Dame team by 20 points.
  • On Thursday, his friends got together and make cookies and cinnamon rolls.
  • He was in Grande Prairie on Friday and went to a movie with some Rotary exchange students.
  • On Saturday, he was in Whitecourt to watch Gavin play a hockey game.
  • Went to the Oil Kings game on Sunday.  They lost 3-0, but he did get to meet some more exchange students.
     
    Paul Harris Fellowship awards were presented to Leroy Johnson and Ray Hook.
     
    Tanzania Project update by Roy Wallace
                The Smith Clinic has agreed to donate $10,000 per year for the next 2 years!
     
    The Rotary Gala is May 6th.  The next meeting is on Feb. 9th at 7:30am.  Help is needed with silent auction items.
     
    Club Runner demonstration presented by Dan.
     
    50/50 draw was won by Ken Roberts but he didn’t draw the right card.
