  • There is a need for silent auction items
  • Currently need a live auction co-ordinator

Presentation on the Rotary Foundation by David Taylor:
  • Government of Canada and the Rotary Foundation 5 year partnership.
  • Matching funds of 1.2 Million each year for 5 years.
  • Matching will be at a rate of 1:1.
  • Peace and conflict resolution will not be matched.
  • Child and maternal health is the preferred area of the government of Canada.
  • Will not support scholarships, construction or the purchase of vehicles and major medical equipment.
  • Water filtration devices are eligible.
  • The Rotary Foundation will call for projects annually.
  • TRFC website has an Excel spreadsheet calculator for the amount of funding available for a project.
  • Kim Boyko is great at grant applications.
  • There is a need for projects.
