Growing Futures Flower Boxes - Fall Cleaning

A fall Saturday morning clean-out! We'll put the garden boxes to bed for winter. Thanks to everyone who has helped to plant, water and weed the flower boxes throughout the season. This year hasn't been a normal one at the school, but we're certainly glad the students, teachers and staff had our flowers to look at when they were in the building! Thank you!

For the work day - please bring gloves, hand spades and yard waste bags. It should be much easier than in past years, thanks to our planting and weeding during the season, but there still will be some doozies of weeds, especially in the pavement around the planters. Maybe we'll have coffee and bagels too for a little socializing?
