This year, as in years past, the Shawnee Mission Rotary club rings bells to collect donations for the Salvation Army. It's a holiday tradition that means a lot to our club, and is one of our favorite service projects of the year. In 2015, over the four Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas, approximately 32 club members and their friends and family will spend some time greeting shoppers and thanking them for stopping for a minute to to think of others and make a donation. It's what the season is all about, and a natural fit with Rotary's mission of Service Above Self.
