District Wide Diversity Equity Inclusion

I'm excited to share with you our next upcoming district-wide meeting(s). This is one you don't want to miss.

Coming on the heels of the district's statement on inclusivity yesterday (which is attached to this email for your reference), next week's program will be all about diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Our speakers will be Danielle Johnson, a partner in Inclusive Growth Strategies and Associate Director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Wichita State University and Joseph Shepard, the Director of Multicultural Engagement and Campus Life at Newman University.

We'll cover topics like the importance of DEI, unconscious bias, who needs to be at the table for these discussions and even next steps our clubs can take. To allow for dialogue and maximum participation, we're offering the same program twice during the week. Please register and join Zoom on Friday with an open mind and the desire to listen, learn and participate.
