One Stop Shop Work Day July 22, 2017

Several Rotarians worked on a Saturday to help transform Shawnee Mission North High School's One Stop Shop. The space is a place students can grab a quick snack, or toiletry items, or clothes for a job interview, along with some mentoring from Coach Dre, the schools Student Success Liaison. While students were away on summer break, the club painted the room, replaced the carpet, and added new and more functional furniture, including a microwave and a seating area for quality conversation! Thanks to our generous donors for making this project possible! The Shawnee Mission Rotary Club will continue to support the One Stop Shop by restocking the food supplies throughout the 17-18 school year.
