2019-2020 Grants
In July, our Club approved the following three grants for 2019-2020:
1. Using discretionary funds, we authorized a $500 Grant to Washington Elementary School to help with the construction cost of a new playground for K-3 and developmentally disabled children. The Grant is in honor of our long-time member, Nancy Ellis, who has volunteered for many years at Washington Elementary.
2. Using District funds with a Club match, we authorized a $1400 Grant to the Center of Grace weekly dinners. The money will provide food for about 250 for 4 sessions and the Club will provide servers at those sessions.
3. Also using district Funds with a Club match, we authorized a $1400 Grant to Heart to Heart International to fund health kits. Club members will gather at a date to be determined to help assemble those kits.
