It would is impossible for me to translate Bob Nauman's enthusiasm and vision of his trip to Italy. He played music, showed photos and brought wine and beer for tasting. He shared stories, maps, postcards, guides and quick facts of the 18-day adventure. It was definitely a 5 senses kind of program.

They spent the time with good friends and Paula and Bob celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. Rome, Florence, Bologna, Tuscany...fountains, street vendors, vineyards...hot springs, agriculture, rolling hills, humanity...what more could you ask for?

He was mesmerized by the history of the Parthenon, the temple of the gods that existed when Christ lived. He was dazzled by Ducati, but not enough to buy a bike.

He was amused by the amount of traffic and similarities in our interpersonal communication and theirs...some gestures are understood no matter where you are. And he put his Boy Scout skills to good use, taking only one wrong turn the entire time without a GPS.

Thank you, Bob for sharing the sites with us. Now, it's Sandy Harris's turn.
