Rotary Recap 6.18.2014

Our Program Guide Collyn Peterson invited Denise German to be our program today. Denise works with Olathe Health Services and discussed the new Hospice House that is being built on the Olathe Hospital Campus.

In the beginning, it will hold eight beds, and more will be added as donations are accumulated. To date, Johnson County has raised 3 of the $4M needed to complete the project. Denise is hoping to appeal to Miami Countians to contribute to the fundraising campaign.

SAVE THE DATE: On September 27, 2014, from 6-9:30pm there will be a dinner and wine fundraising event hosted at Somerset Ridge. Vintage Park will contribute the wine. Ticket prices have not been determined, although they will be considered tax deductible contributions.

In Other News:

Denise was one of the founding members of the Rotary Club of Louisburg in 1998 and is interested in rejoining.
