Rabbi Zalman Tiechtel (pronounced zahl-mahn Tai-ch-tel) hails from Brooklyn New York and has lived in Lawrence, Kansas for the past thirteen years. Along with his wife he co-directs the Chabad Center for Jewish Life - the local branch of the worlds largest Jewish organization. The Chabad center serves as a resource for anything Jewish and sponsors a broad spectrum of programs sharing the Jewish culture with the Northeast Kansas communities. He is also the host of the local radio show "The Schmooze" which airs live every Sunday morning on 1320am/101.7/FM.
