2016 February 3 Program

Linda Conklin did a wonderful job of  informing us of all the kiddos they help during the school year through Blessings in a Back Pack.

 

At the beginning of the 2015-2016 school year, 53 children were being served.

 

Prior to the Christmas break, 170 bags were dispersed to children in grades kindergarten through 5th grade who are on free or reduced lunch.  There was note inquiring if they wanted to remain in the program after the Christmas break and they are now serving 102 children.

 

Blessings in a Back Pack is a 501C3 organization out of Kentucky.  There was some discussion for helping children through the summer months in conjunction with the Louisburg Library and the Masonic Lodge.
