Good afternoon!
 
Those of you that were unable to attend today's program we have learned so many fun things.
 
*Our lunch will now cost $12.04 due to the state tax rate increase, thank your Governor when you see him.
*If you know who is has Facebook administrative rights for our club please step forward and let yourself be known, we are anxiously awaiting to keep that site up to date and current.
*George brought a guest, Justin Thompson, new business owner in town, his location is the old Country Cousins Furniture building.  He specialized in industrial signage.
 
Marty Southard, Mayer of Louisburg, informed us of all the goings on in the city:
 
1. Tim Bower was hired as Police Chief and comes to us from the Shawnee Police Department, and is living in Bucyrus.
2. Nathan Law was hired as the City Administrator, and comes to us from Kiowa, Kansas.
3. Marty and Nathan are discussing the goals for the direction of the city:
    a. Retail Growth
    b. Revitalization of downtown
    c. Mid American Grant for the 4 phases of the upgrade of the downtown area
4. The budget will be published in the July 22nd paper.
5. 3 years are left for th bond issue to pay for the pool.
6. K-68/Metcalf exchange is on the its way, Louisburg will pay for the project and get reimbursed from the State (and yes, he got that in writing).
7. Marty welcomes all phone calls about your City:  be kind, identify yourself and SMILE!
