The Rotary Club of Salisbury, in cooperation with The Salisbury Sunrise Rotary Club and the Rotary Club of Wicomico County, is seeking persons to sponsor persons they consider to be heroes. These heroes, whatever their profession or background, will be honored with a display of hundreds of American flags just east of Salisbury along U.S. Route 50. These flags will be on display between Memorial Day and Independence Day.
Proceeds from the Flags for Heroes project will be be donated to local non-profit groups that help military veterans and their families. A per flag donation of $50 is all that is needed. Details and the application form are in the Download section of this website.
