At tonight's Rotary Club of Salisbury meeting, club members learned that $19,000 were raised at last week's A Round for the Community golf outing.
These dollars will be distributed to a variety of local non-profit organizations over the next few months.
In recent years, the golf event provided needed money to organizations that focus on youth education and development programs, support for military veterans, aid to families in need, and other community improvement projects.
Capturing the team and individual competition prizes were:
Low Gross Team M & T Bank
2nd Low Gross Team Kuhn’s Jewelers/SVN Miller Commercial Real Estate
Low Net Team TidalHealth
2nd Low Net Team PB Packaging
Closest to the Pin Mason Mendoza on the M & T Bank Team
Closest to the Pin Dave King on the Kuhn’s Jewelers Team with a hole-in-one
Longest Putt Made Pat Evans on the PB Packaging Team
Straightest Drive Todd Jonischek on the TidalHealth Team

More than one-third of the Rotary Club of Salisbury members were involved in the planning and execution of this popular event, demonstrating that club members are People of Action.
