Ford C. Waggoner, III has been selected by members of the 101-year old Rotary Club of Salisbury to be the club’s President-Elect nominee, meaning he is in line to become President of the 83-member club in the 2022-2023 Rotary year. Waggoner will follow President-Elect Bill Satterfield who will assume his role as the club’s President in July, replacing current President John Aukward when his one-year term ends.
 
Ford C. Waggoner, a Rotarian since July 2014, spent his career in sales and marketing positions, working for the Colgate-Palmolive Company, Chesapeake Utilities, and for the last 19 years for Easter Seals of Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore, serving as Director of Marketing and Maryland Public Affairs.  He retired from full-time work last year. 
 
Though born in Baltimore, he was raised and educated in Salisbury, earning degrees from what is now Salisbury University. Waggoner and his wife Leslie have been married almost 44 years.
 
The Rotary Club of Salisbury is a well-respected member organization whose product is service.  Fun, fellowship, and community service are hallmarks of the club. Club members, “People of Action,” serve in many leadership roles in the community and provide countless hours of service to dozens of organizations.  Rotary is committed to making the world a better place while helping its members become better leaders, individuals, and humanitarians.
