It was a hot day, but members of the Rotary Club of Salisbury today installed hundreds of large American flags at Wor-Wic Community College to raise money to help military veteran assistance groups.
Several hundred flags will be on display through mid-June during the Flags for Heroes observation. Flag sponsors donated money in recognition of persons they deemed to be heroes and those dollars will be divided among several military veterans support organizations.
