Tonight, the winners of The Rotary Club of Salisbury annual raffle with a top prize of $10,000 were selected by Salisbury Police Chief Barbara Duncan. With ticket sales exceeding the club's goal of 3,500 worth $35,000, money has been raised to help the club fund its many community service projects. With a final accounting due next week, we expect to have a near record amount of proceeds from the raffle.
And now the winners:
$10,000 Blair Ranneberger of near Willards, Maryland sold by club member Donnie Cooper
$1,000 Debbie Cooper and L2 sold by Donnie Cooper
$500 Cindy Robinson in the Nevins Addition neighborhood near Salisbury sold by club member Ace Parker
By the way, Donnie sold about 10% of the tickets.
