At our last meeting we heard from Mark Witham from the Military Museum in Royse City. He told us that the collection is growing and that professional videos are being made. Hopefully they will have another building by next year—they already have enough artifacts to fill it! Schools from as far away as Duncanville have brought students to see the collection and more are expected next year. They currently have a collection of 60 oil paintings—most museums of this type only have 2 or 3. If you have not visited this treasure in our town, you are missing out on a walkthrough our history.
