The City of Richardson is celebrating its 150th birthday with a special event on June 24 from 10am to 2pm. The event will be held downtown Richardson underneath the Dart Rail between Polk Street and Main Street, in the heart of downtown CORE district.
The celebration will feature a full schedule including comments from Richardson dignitaries, a birthday sing-a-long with cake/cupcakes, the 1973 and 2023 time capsules, two stages with live entertainment, food trucks, bounce houses and water games for the kids, touch=a-truck, and interactive games and activities featuring the community partners.
The City of Richardson will provide all setup and equipment for our space. Richardson Rotary and Altrusa Richardson will share the tent for the Tic Tact Toe game. Richardson Rotary will need 2 people for 2 shifts from 10am to 2pm. More can stop by if you like.
