Susan has been a part of the 9-1-1/law enforcement community since 1989. She started out working as a Parking Control Officer and assisting with Crime Prevention presentations at various schools in Hobbs NM. After four years, she transferred into dispatch and worked 5 more years. In 1998 Susan moved to Plano and worked as a 9-
1-1 Call taker and Police/NCIC Dispatcher. In 2001, she became the Education Representative, and in 2013 her title changed to 9-1- 1 Public Information Coordinator.

She is responsible for all 9-1-1 Public Education, PIO & Open Records functions. She is the Past-President of the 9-1-1 Public Educators of Texas and the 2012 Texas National Emergency Number Association Public Education Professional of the Year, a founding
member of 9-1-1 National Public Educators Forum.

Susan is married to a retired Addison Police Officer, now turned Corporate Investigator. She has three beautiful grown daughters and three amazing grandson’s, Elijah, Leland, and Remy and two granddaughters, Klarity and Genesis.
