A few notes for the tour--
Safety:
All guests must wear flat, closed-toed shoes (no sandals, clogs or high heels). We recommend wearing comfortable shoes or sneakers. Additionally, long hair must be pulled at or above shoulder length. Loose fitting clothing (long-hanging jewelry, scarves, or ties) are not permitted. Headscarves warn for religious reasons are permitted but must be tucked in securely. Sunglasses are not allowed in the facility; if brought inside, they can be kept in the conference room where we start the tour. High visibility vests will be provided for everyone to wear during the tour of our facility.
Parking:
Our parking lot has open parking. There are several Amazon facilities on our same street so I recommend looking for the “Amazon FTW6” sign when entering from West Bethel Road. The main employee entrance is on the east side of the building in the middle. There are signs that point visitors to the south end of the building, but that is for our staffing visitors and does not have entry access to the main facility. Our parking lot is large and does include some one-way signing so just something to be aware of upon entry. The doors your group will want to use is in the middle of the building on the east side and is listed as our main entry; currently we have the windows around those doors painted with different site logos that say “FTW6”. Upon entering the middle doors, everyone will check in with Security at the window, who will verify their ID and get issued a visitors badge. Feel free to slack me upon arrival so I can meet you and the visitors at the front to escort you to our conference room for where we will start the tour.
Security screening:
Photo ID’s are required for anyone entering the facility. We request information for each visitor be submitted to me at least 2 days prior to arrival. We do have Security that will screen everyone upon exit of the facility as well. Please note anything that is taken into the facility beyond the Security desk will need to be screened/inspected upon exit. We ask that no pictures or videos be taken inside the side except for at approved locations for group photos (your tour guide will instruct the group on where the locations are).
