Elves in Action
Plano Rotary Club created a $15,000 scholarship find with Hendrick Scholarship Foundation. Many club members are or have been mentors to the students.

Members of Plano Rotary Club supported the Plano Balloon Festival September 22-25 running the Information Booth. This photo was taken on Saturday morning of members who showed up at 6am to enjoy the colors of the festival and ensure that guest found their way through the festival. Members worked four-hour shifts for the four days. Much of the proceeds from the festival goes back into the community to non-profits working the festival. To date, the festival has given more than $3Million back to the community in scholarships and grants.

As soon as we found out that Children's Hospital of Plano was running low on welome boxes for their patients, we dedicated a meeting to assembling 117 plastic shoeboxes full of colored pencils, coloring books, puzzles, games, and toys.
