Southlake Rotarians participated in our quarterly Trash Pick-Up project this past Saturday in “Keeping Southlake Beautiful.” It was a beautifully sunny day!
A BIG thank you to those who weathered the trash: Lisa McBee, Jim Giffin, Sean Cerone, Henry Hubble, John Pichler and Dan Phillips.
As usual, we recovered some fascinating rubbish and refuse, including a vape pen, numerous cigarette butts, green pom pom strands, plastic cups and straws, and what appeared to be the frame of either an old skateboard or scooter. We gathered at least 20 gallons of trash!
Following our eventful morning of trash collection, we shifted our attention to brunch, enjoying good company & excellent food at one of our favorite hang-outs, Manny’s Uptown Tex-Mex (https://www.mannysuptowntexmex.com/) John Pichler’s wife, Sherry joined us and a great time was had by ALL!
