Sleep in Heavenly Peace: No Child Without a Bed

A BIG thank you to Jeannie Stone on her wonderful presentation yesterday at our Rotary Club meeting!

You may not be aware, but child bedlessness is a national problem, and as a national nonprofit with chapters spread across the country, Sleep in Heavenly Peace has provided the solution. SHP is a volunteer organization that builds beds for children who are sleeping on the floor.

Jeannie Stone is the Fundraising/Bedding Coordinator for the SHP's Fort Worth/N. Dallas Chapter. Jeannie informed our Club about the local need for kids' bedding, and the multiple ways to get involved either as individuals or as a sponsoring club.  We are hoping to incorporate this worthy cause as one of our Club's initiatives this year!
