The Rotary Foundation - what it is and how clubs and its members participate.

Since it was founded 105 years ago, the Rotary Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects. Notably, the Foundation has consistently earned the highest grade from multiple independent charity ratings services and other sources. Simply put, the Rotary Foundation is one of the most effective ways to make a difference in people’s lives around the world.

On Friday Roger Paschal, District 5790 Foundation Director and Past District Governor, will be presenting in person to our club. Roger will be explaining how the Foundation works: all the different ways you can participate, where your money goes and who decides how it gets there.

Our club has traditionally been one of the most generous (per member) in our district. Come to learn about the recently updated Rotary Foundation funding model and to feel even better about your role as a Rotarian!
