Call A Ride of Southlake

For 20 years, Southlake seniors have counted on Call a Ride of Southlake (CARS) to get to doctor appointments, the grocery store or to other activities. It gives them a sense of autonomy because they can call ahead, schedule a ride and get to where they need to go without fumbling through the often confusing steps of a phone app or dealing with online payments.

Our speaker on June 25, 20221 was Lisa Adam. Lisa began volunteering for CARS in 2007 as a driver and now serves on its Board as Marketing Director. Lisa will cover such things as their service area, eligibility requirements and restrictions, funding sources, volunteer opportunities and more.
