Richard “Hoggy” Price to Speak at the Next Southlake Rotary Club Meeting

“Take me out to the Rotary Club.”

Who loves major league baseball?  Deemed by many as America’s greatest iconic past-time, major league baseball ----- with all of its cultural trimmings and frills, undeniably delivers fun and entertainment to all ---- baseball lovers or not!!!  An enterprise of drama, spectacle and production, BOTH diehard enthusiasts and even halfhearted fans are treated to a panoply of theatric amusement: great food (hotdogs, peanuts and beer!!!), notorious rivalries, the 7th inning stretch, appealing uniforms, superstitious curses, countless legends of the game, and the drama of home runs!

Southlake Rotarian Chuck Elhoff has invited Richard “Hoggy” Price, Assistant Vice President of Business Operations, Ballpark Facilities & Event Operations of Texas Rangers Baseball to speak to our club about his baseball adventures. Formerly a Home Club House and Equipment Manager with the team, Hoggy has been with the Texas Rangers for over 42 seasons! It will be interesting and entertaining to hear about his baseball escapades. This is YOUR invitation to come to our next Southlake Rotary Club Meeting at 12:00 pm Friday (March 15) at the Timarron Country Club. #wearerotary
