A History of Service

The GRACE Gala was conceptualized in 2004 as a way to generate funds to serve a growing population in need. The GRACE Board of Directors put together a dynamic GRACE Gala Advisory Board made up of prominent community members from Grapevine, Southlake, and Colleyville. In its first year, the GRACE Gala sold out six months before the event.

With each year that passes, the GRACE Gala funds allow us to provide much needed services to the Northeast Tarrant County community. We hope to continue the tradition of raising funds to provide all that we can to those in need and having a good time while we do it! Your support is very much needed.

GRACE has announced that Sheila and Jason Ridley will be the co-chairs for the 2022 GRACE Gala event.

Taking place at the Irving Convention Center on November 5, the GRACE Gala is a premier black-tie event that funds programs and services for GRACE’s clients. With the Walton Stout Band providing a live performance alongside gourmet food and dancing, the gala committee says Sheila and Jason Ridley are dedicated to helping its neighbors who are facing hardship.

“The GRACE Gala is the embodiment of the GRACE mission, which is to be good stewards of the community,” CEO Shonda Schaefer says. “Our clients, families, sponsors, donors, volunteers and supporters all deserve this night, and we can’t wait.”
