New Monthly Service Award

The Club Service award is an award designed to recognize one member per month for their personal contribution through service to the club and the community. Exceptional contributions through service on a committee, successful fundraising efforts, membership recruitment efforts, consistent work on a specific club project, initiating/coordinating a collaboration with another club on a project or assisting other members with their club assignments are examples of the types of contributions which may be qualifying for consideration.
This service may have been through participation in any of the lines of service. Financial contributions made by members shall not serve as a basis for consideration for this award.
Individuals can be nominated by any member of the club. Nominations should be made within the first two weeks of each month to the Foundation Chair. The board members shall review any nominations at their regularly scheduled board meeting and select one member each month. The member selected shall be allocated 100 foundation points for their service to the club.
A member may only be awarded this recognition once in a rotary year. Receipt of this award does not preclude a member from being nominated for a Paul Harris Fellow recognition at the club's annual holiday celebration. Current board members are not eligible to receive consideration for this award.
