This Friday, Topeka South Rotary welcomes Kurtis Grothoff, Chief Development Officer for Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas.

Since joining Catholic Charities in 2022, Kurtis has led the organization’s fundraising and marketing initiatives, advancing its core mission to serve those in need with help, hope, and hospitality.

His diverse professional background includes serving as Development and Marketing Director for the Boy Scouts of America, as well as working as a language and culture consultant for the St. Louis Cardinals. Kurtis holds both a Bachelor’s in Global Studies and a Master’s in English from Missouri State University.

Kurtis lives in Olathe with his wife, Marcela, and their seven-year-old daughter, Sofia. Active members of Prince of Peace Parish, the Grothoff family enjoys traveling, connecting with new people, and living out their faith together.
