What's YOUR Member Moment?

If you attended the board transition meeting on June 26, 2015, you heard me speak of Rotary moments. This year, I would like to hear about the moment you KNEW you were a true Rotarian. You have already heard my moment. Now I want to hear yours.
For those of you who could not attend the transition meeting, let me explain this a little further. We all know that there is a time when we decided to join Topeka South Rotary. The reason you joined could have been for service, networking, philanthropy, friendship, or a number of other reasons. Once you joined, though, there is typically a moment that touches you in a way that makes you feel that you are now a true Rotarian at heart. This moment is surely different for everyone of us, but if you have been a member for any length of time, I am certain you have one.
This year the focus is on membership, and I would like for one of you to share your moment with us at the beginning of each meeting to show our guests and new members why we are Rotarians. This will also remind us of how important our work through Rotary is to our community, our world and ourselves.
