Next month, Topeka South Rotary will host EarlyAct – a new service project that teaches third-graders the Four Way Test.
Third-graders are at a great age to learn about the Four Way Test – and how using it in their lives can help them to avoid and stop bullying.
EarlyAct involves two one-hour sessions with the third-graders at Avondale West Elementary School, 3229 S.W. Westview Ave.:
- Friday, April 3, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
- Friday, April 10, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
We have an easy-to-follow script to use in working with the third-graders, which makes the project easy, fun and very rewarding. (It’s not necessary to volunteer for both sessions, but it is an ideal way for the kids to interact with the same Rotarians each week.)
If you're interested in volunteering for EarlyAct or learning more about it, please contact Dr. Mike Morrison or Tanya Dorf Brunner.
