TSR Beneficiaries Announced

Topeka South Rotary received five(5) applications as beneficiaries of our fund raising efforts for the 2012-2013 Rotary year. A review committee made up of board members and non-board members reviewed the applications and made recommendations to the TSR board. The following was approved by the board; The TSR Sole Mates program was approved for $1,500.00 as part of our matching portion to the District 5710 grant that was received for that program. Those funds will come from our weekly can money.  Proceeds from this quarter’s meetings, January through March, of weekly can money to go to the Woodland Public Charity for their water, education and health care programs in Guatemala. Breakthrough House was approved as the beneficiary of the proceeds raised from this year’s golf tournament.
