Sana Kaufmann Scholarship Awarded

Congratulations to Mallory Copeland, a Shawnee Heights senior, who was the recipient of the Topeka South Rotary Sana Kaufmann Scholarship. Mallory is joined by her mother on the left and Marlou at the Topeka Community Foundation Scholarship Reception. For those of you not familiar with the Sana Kaufmann scholarship that is administered by Topeka Community Foundation for TSR, it memorializes Sana Kaufmann. Sana was an exchange student sponsored by TSR to South Africa and unfortunately died tragically while there. She was a debate student at Shawnee Heights, so the scholarship awards $500 to a Shawnee Heights forensics/debate student.  Mallory hopes to visit our club soon!
