Please join us Friday, November 4 to hear from Dr. Melanie Worsley about Washburn University's Decision-Based Simulator.
Washburn University recently added a new virtual simulation lab on campus. The Virtual Training and Simulation Lab houses a three-screen multiple interactive learning objectives (MILO) decision-based simulator that provides students the opportunity to engage in a fully-immersive training experience. During this program, Melanie Worsley, director of the VTS Lab, and Chief Chris Enos, the Chief of the Washburn University Police Department, will give a virtual tour of the VTS lab. They will also discuss how the VTS lab is used by the WUPD and by academic programs across campus as well as plans for how to make the lab an available resource for agencies and organizations in the community.
This week's meeting will be held in person at Washburn University Memorial Union in the Kansas Room. Click here for directions using Google Maps. Announcements will begin promptly at 7:45 am, with breakfast and coffee being served at 7:30 am!
