Seven Things About Mike:

1. Briefly describe your occupation.
Architect – I also dabble in commercial real estate development
2. What is your favorite hobby?
I enjoy most yard work and take care of my church’s building and grounds.
3. Who do you feel was a major inspiration in your life or career? 
A single individual is notably absent for me as an inspiration. As an architect I have always admired Frank Lloyd Wright.
4. What music genre do you listen to the most?
Soft Rock and Folk.
5. Describe your perfect vacation:
Going somewhere that neither Maria nor I have been, getting in on some awesome nature hikes with wildlife viewing and finding a fascinating unexpected event or activity not on the itinerary.
6. How do you stay informed of current events or developments in your field?
I subscribe to a key newsletter and receive literally dozens of periodicals on architecture and related fields whether I subscribe to them or not.
7. What is your favorite sport or sports figure to watch?
No doubt its football, but I find that the older I become the less excited I get.
