Jeff Sorensen - Financial Advisor, Cornerstone Group
 
Jeff Sorensen is a Financial Advisor with Cornerstone Advisors, an independently-owned Investment Advisory Firm in Topeka.  He works with individuals and small businesses providing personal and business financial planning, retirement planning, wealth management, 401k management, estate planning and College Savings plans.  Jeff was fortunate to be able to retire early from Hill’s Pet Nutrition/Colgate Palmolive after working there for 22 years, allowing him to follow his true passion to become a financial advisor. 

Jeff was born and raised in northeast Iowa.  He attended University of Northern Iowa where he received his BA in Financial Management, as well as his Master’s in Business Administration.  Jeff currently serves on the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels, as well as being an Elder at Topeka Bible Church.  Jeff is very active in a number of different roles at his church.  Jeff serves as the Secretary on the Topeka South Rotary Board of Directors.  Jeff was a prior board member for Junior Achievement of Kansas, and regularly teaches Junior Achievement classes.  Jeff just started participating as a “big brother” and really enjoys spending time with his 3rd grade “little brother”.  Jeff and his wife Judy have been married 28 years and have a 26 year old son that works at Stormont-Vail.  Jeff enjoys bike-riding and photography, and is a big fan of Kansas Jayhawk basketball.
