From Our House to Theirs: Help Easter Seals Capper Foundation

Please consider touching the lives of those served by the Easter Seals Capper Foundation this holiday season and purchase a small gift as you are out shopping.
 
The Capper Foundation needs help collecting gift items by 5 p.m. this Friday, Dec. 12 (for the holiday party next week). Topeka South Rotary's Tanya Dorf Brunner has offered to collect donations from TSR members this Friday meeting and deliver them to Capper's by the deadline.
 
Here are a few ideas for sharing some warmth with adults with disabilities who are receiving services at Capper. More than 60 percent of those served are male, so masculine gifts are most needed:
  • Hat, Gloves, Scarf
  • Men’s wallet
  • Men’s watch
  • CDs: Rap/Hip Hop, Pop, Country, Rock, R&B
  • Mini flashlight
  • Deck of cards
  • Beef jerky
  • Cologne
  • Crossword book
  • Puzzle
  • $5 movie pass
  • Sunglasses
  • Travel-size games
  • Wool socks
  • Key chain
